Remove eyes

Hello, I have a problem.
If I use the mod "Character editor" for edit settlers during the game, he remove modded eyes and he replace then by the default eyes. But doesn't affect departing settlers.
Do you have an answer to my problem, please ?

No but i have the same bug
Its a year later you Fix It ?

For my part, the bug with that is fix, the modded eyes appear but another bug is here : when my settlers sleep, their eyes still open...
