global settings for speed limits?
Is there an option somewhere i can set the speed limits for all kind of roads globally? I'm kinda getting tired of setting it up again when ever i start a new map.

Next version will bring redesigned global speed limits feature. Will be much easier to setup everything.

Are the settings for global speed limits by road type editable in one of the config files for TM:PE?

No, everything is stored inside the savegame file, new version will simplify setting the default speeds
