I've found an issue with upgrading roads to pedestrian roads when the junction had timed traffic lights. I upgraded a section of my city to be pedestrian and eventually found that the emergency vehicles were getting stuck behind barriers that were not dropping for them. This was on junctions with timed traffic lights. After upgrading the road to be pedestrian it removes the step from the pedestrian side and so the lights never go green for them and the barriers never drop.

This might be a me issue and not a mod issue but it would be nice if either the pedestrian picked up the same step that existed for the normal road, or, the timed traffic light was removed all together. The former being preferred.

This doesn't happen when you upgrade a road to a different road so I think it might be an issue that could be fixed. I would guess that TMPE is treating it like it requires no traffic but we know that pedestrian roads do require traffic to drive down them.
