Decouple Public transport demand overlay from Parking AI option
I don't understand the choice behind linking Public transport demand overlay to Parking AI option.

One of the major missing features from this game is public transport station "coverage" area indicator and a proper color based overlay.

So now if I want to have such a "groundbreaking" feature, I have to enable Parking AI with the increased CPU usage costs (which have not been quantified anywhere that I could find), along with basically re-designing the whole city to accommodate parking lots. I have a city with 685K population and as we know, this game is pretty much a single threaded RAM hog. So it doesn't matter how many cores my CPU has.

Anyway, would it be possible in a future version to just have the Public transport demand overlay feature separate from Parking AI?

How would you calculate public transport demand if currently it's calculated based on failed attempts of using personal car e.g.: because it cannot spawn parked car near home to bebin using it or car already in-use cannot be parked.
Without Parking AI citizen is allowed to use pocked vehicle anytime and anywhere, there are no restrictions besides one: road does not allow for cars, but in that case citizen won't even try to spawn it, so there is no chance for faled attempts.

Alright, let me rephrase: is it possible to display an overlay showing public transport accessibility, based on cims chosen mode of transport with the most weight/length to their destinations?

Another idea: when clicking on a building, the public transport accessibility is shown in the demands panel, in the form of a percentage. This could be shown as a color for the whole building, in an overlay view. So for example, red would be for buildings which don't have public transport access.

Btw, I enabled Parking AI and all the buildings in my city show up as green under current public transport overlay. But when checking a building's demands panel, public transport shows up as 0% (because I don't have a PT line nearby). Then I wonder why is it showing as green in the PT overlay view? I think the implementation of the overlay in the PT view is misleading. It is based on personal car accessibility... which is not a public transport vehicle.
