Got the same Problem with my Industrial Area. I wanted to seperate it form my city so they must drive across the Highway to reduce massive traffic. I picked 2 roads on which the Garbage and overall SOS-Vehicles can drive into this Area to do their job but even tho i restricted the Areas to all the other Cars, Suv´s and Trucks are still driving innit

You also have to set certain rules when you are in game. From ESC then options then TMPE there set rule trucks and cars... take your time and read the description. After setting this option they won't clog your bridge...

I am also having the issue, checked menu to find vehicle restrictions were in fact enabled.

Having the same problem all of sudden. Mine is worse, the small transport cars are going out of city, looping around a far away highway clover and clogging up the main entrance to the city. I have two specialized roads off the industry area to route cars, which they are not taking. I even banned car access to the hwy the large truck take from the industry area and the cars ignore the ban. I haven't added new mods.

Yes, they are. I have several NO TRUCK restrictions on some dirt roads, and the trucks are still using it to cut across to the main roads.

Check vehicle restriction aggression setting (while in game!)
