"Triggerable" Traffic Lights for Pedestrians possible?
i'm trying to achieve that timed traffic lights can be set up to work like triggerable pedestrian crossover. this is for a simple crossover on a single street.

i have set up the lights as follows:
setting 1: peds green, cars red, min wait 0, max wait 10, switch to next when moving=0
setting 2: peds red, cars green, min wait 20, max wait 30, switch to next when waiting=0

it works, kinda:
setting 1 gets switched on when the condition fits (no car waiting) but since peds seem not to be counted, it switches back after one second, even if peds are still crossing the street.

checked the tm:pe wiki but the part for timed lights is not existent.. so i could use some help here.

Just found this discussion https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/workshop/filedetails/discussion/1637663252/3040480988280891955/

its stated that pedestrians do not count as traffic and it might cause performance issues. so i came to the idea, that it maybe is not necessary to count every waiting ped but just if at least one ped is waiting and use that as trigger. on the busiest crossing, if even only one ped pushes the button, the lights will switch eventually.

The thing is I don't even know that citizen is waiting in front of pedestian crossing and pedestian crossing are imaginary thing. I don't want to do ray casting or blind search (performance issues).

A bit more complete wiki[tmpe.viathinksoft.com], still valid

Thank you for the other wiki link. sadly, it shows me that my workaround plan will not work unless peds are counted, which seems impossible. but it showed me some other possibilities i needed confirmed.
