Log trucks do not use U-turns
Log trucks (which you use in forest industry) do not use U-turns. They follow till nearest dead end to act turnaround.
It happens despite U-turns and left-turn arrows enable on all crossroads. Manual setting lane connectors to allow turn around on crossroad to any lane does not solve the issue.

This bug affect only on log trucks and not on log tractors (perhaps other specific trucks too, I did not check)

Well, if we want to look at it realistically, when will any form of a semi-truck use a u-turn, given it's size and maneuverability (if that makes sense)? Well, at least I haven't ever seen one, nor have it ever been advised / permissible in any of the manuals I have read while doing CDL testing / training. So, maybe in another state or country, but not where I'm from. Not even buses (passenger or school) are advised to do so, let alone a 53'. Now, maybe boxes would be allowed (I'd even question that pass the 22's), but not at all would a semi with a trailer be considered safe to pull off such a move. Now, I could definitely be wrong, so maybe I should've started this off with "subjectively speaking". 😁

I understand we're asking this question game related, but I'm sure there was some thought / form of realism included in the development, in regards to any form of traffic. After all, this is a traffic based game, right?🤔

There is no way any form of realism is included in this mechanic. By default, vehicles in the game always turn around at dead ends, and never crossroads. And if we're talking about semi-trucks, it's easier to turn around on an avenue than at the end of a small two-lane road.

Happy city building everyone!
Again, I did say subjectively speaking, but I also use this mod at its fullest potential, so I could just be spoiled / biased by its functionality, especially given that I've been sub'd to it and it's predecessors since it's been created. To be honest, I totally forgot how it even functions at vanilla state, as I have modded the game since mods has been a thing.

So, hey, that's again just my take on it. In my gaming experience, a semi of no sort has even tried to do a u-turn, and preferably I enjoy it that way. So, that's all I was speaking from. I apologize if I offended you so badly with my take on the GAME! LOL 🤣

Actually, on the avenues (more so arterial roads rather than connectors), I set the two lane turning format (5 lane at 12-24 for good spacing and timed traffic lights), where the left most lane is the u-turn for the smaller vehicles and the second lane is for the trucks, and I use the vehicle restriction settings to indicate as such just to make sure it does correctly.
