Cards/Series Suggestion
Hi, if there's any series or card that you would like to see in the mod you can post them in this discussion

  • Every series will need at lest 7 different cards before I can implement it
  • If possible, give me some details on the character so that I can think of a fitting effect, or just tell me which kind of effect they should have
  • It will require some time to implement new series, but I will read every post and eventually bring them into the game
  • I can add some 1-of (like Shimakaze), which do not appear in the rewards from The Missing Piece, these are also the fastest to add since I can implement them as colorless cards.

There are a lot of good and goofy alies and characters in this show witch i think could make a decend Deck of Cards (Slime, Dragon, Orcs, Lizards, Goblins and Dryads)


maybe something ecchi for certain fans ->

Series: To Love Ru Darkness
Protagonist: Yuuki Rito
This show has a lot of quirky characters with diferent abilities as well just more on the fanservice side with the designs but powerfull in the few combat situations as well (Transformation weapons, Demons , ghost, and Aliens)

Gabriel Dropout/One punch man/ Steins;Gate (I put them as an idea, because maybe can do something with them)

Gabriel Dropout:
Gabriel (2)skill: Gain Intangible. Exhaust. Synergy: Deal 7 damage all enemies.
Raphiel (1)attack: Gain 6(8) armor and deal 6(8) damage. Synergy: Heal 2(3) hp.
Satanya (3)attack: Lose 3 HP. Exhaust you hand and deal 8 damage to all enemies for each exhausted card. Synergy: ?

Some more Full Metal Alchemist characters:

Edward Elric - The Fullmetal Alchemist. Named after his mechanical arm and leg that he lost to the Gate of Truth when he tried to bring his mom back from the dead. Skilled alchemist and martial artist. Spends the series looking for the philosopher's stone to help him and his brother get their bodies back. Not sure if alchemy should be treated as magic for orbs. He's more offensive in nature than his brother, but I think they should both have the same synergy that involves searching.

Alphonse Elric - Ed's brother. Lost his entire body, and is a soul bound to a suit of armor. A better martial artist, but more defensive (passive) in nature.

Roy Mustang - Colonel in command of Ed. The Flame Alchemist. Uses fire, and is a good commander. 2 cost attack vs everyone. Synergy that reduces the cost of the next FMA card to 0. (As a way to tie in zero cost card & military as GATE does. More of a leader from the front character.)

Maes Hughes - Lieutenant. Old Friend of Roy. Works in military intelligence. Gets info for Roy. Skilled fighter with knives. Learns something too important and is killed. His death becomes one of Roy's driving forces. 1 cost draw a card and reduce its cost. Same synergy as Roy. Legacy of something. +1 draw a turn fits, but might be hard to balance.

Alex Louis Armstrong - Major. Strong Arm Alchemist. Large well-muscled man. Likes to pose and sparkle. 3 cost. Gain strength, then big attack. Synergy to probably gain more strength. (Or none, doesn't tend to fight alongside people very often.)

The Truth - An enigmatic, metaphyiscal being who appears when a person attempts Human Transmutation. To make such a thing equivalent, he takes them to the Gate, and takes away something valuable (arm, leg, body, sight, womb). Imposes a penalty and extra effect to another card. (Possibly lasting past the battle and 1 shot) Increase/decrease cost/damage/block. Or additions could be orb-focused to tie in alchemical knowledge with orbs.

I think that's all the characters that would inspire distinct mechanics.

Would like to suggest some love for Steins;gate in the form of some time-manipulation trickery.

what about a re:zero deck?

it could be something like that:

-Felt: draw some cards and get some energy, in exchange you draw less cards next turn or less energy
-Emilia: channel 1 frost and one lighting, synergy: make the evoke efeckt of your orbs whitout loosing them. Legacy: you gain a Puck card
-Rem: deal some damage and gain permanent strengh if you atack a cultist, or permanently upgrade the card if synergize or something like that
-Ram: gain one orb slot synergy: one focus?
-Roswaal: evoke all your orbs, then channel a random orb in all your orb slots
-Beattrice: gain 5 block and draw a card
-Petelgeuse: exaust one card of your hand, then draw a invisible hand (0 cost attack with penetrative dmg)
-Chrush: power, you draw one extra card each turn
-Ferris: apply vulnerable, stun the first time you use it on each enemy
-Anastasia: gain double money at the end of the combat. power
-Reinhard: some overpowered area dmg for an absurd cost, the plan would be that the strategy were make felt and use all the energy to make reinhard and just one hit normal enemies
-Puck: you just get it by exausting emilia, it could be a free card that make a lot of dmg but if u dont finish the combat the same turn you get it you just dead (like a reference to the chap 15 xD)
-Subaru natsuki: a power that resurrect you at the start of the floor if you dead or something like that?, I dont really know how to implement that

Well all that are just ideas, it could be different, and I dont really know how much of over powered would all this be, Just drop the Idea an let a genious like you to finish it ;D

Here is some crazy ideas for Hokuto no Ken/First of the North Star cards, I honestly don't know how to explain the characters without spoiling things so I'll just leave that alone:

Kenshiro: Power (Cost 3) Each time a card is exhausted or purged gain 2 (4 if upgraded) Strength until the end of the turn

Raoh: Attack (Cost 3) Deal 40 (60 if upgraded) damage to one enemy. Legacy: Add one exhausted card to your hand but it's purged at the end of the turn

Yuria: Skill (Cost 1 (0 if upgraded)) Heal 2 HP. Legacy: Add 1 Mosou Tensei (Skill: (Cost 2 (1 if upgraded)): Gain 1 (2 if upgraded) Intangible) to your deck if either Raoh or Kenshiro are in your deck

Shin: Attack: (Cost 2) Deal 8 (13 if upgraded) Piercing Damage. Legacy: Reduce the cost of 1 card to 1 (0 if upgraded) for the rest of the battle

Toki: Skill (Cost 3 (2 if upgraded)): Enemy loses 2 Strength, Add 2 wounds and 1 dazed to your discard pile. Synergy: Reduce the cost of a card in your hand by 1 for this turn

Bat: Skill (Cost 1 (0 if upgraded)): Retain. Cycle 2 cards. Synergy: Draw one card

Lin: Power (Cost 0): Reduce the cost of card in your deck by 1 for the rest of the combat at the end of the turn. Cost 1 more for each exhausted card.

One punch man maybe?

Saitama [3]: does 100 damage, get permanently removed from the deck, can only be played if not more then 5 cards have been played (5 sentences or less!)

Mumen rider [0]: 2 damage, returns to the top of the deck [weak, but persistent, making him good at combo attacks, VERY good with unceasing top, weak against any form of spikes

Speed of sound Sonic [3]: :Power: Gain 5 dexterity

Genos [2]: deal 20 damage, Exhaust, put a burn in your hand (Self destruct scene)

The mosquito girl[2]: Deal 5 damage, any unblocked damage heals you

Tatsumaki: :Power: Gain flying via telekinesis, synergy: Get the anger effect (from the first Character) for the turn? (each card played gives you 3 blocks)

The theme would be high-cost cards since most people of that show are pretty powerful (Except Mumen, best Character X))

Numbers to be balanced

Other series ideas: Lastly: Jojo, problem children come from the sky, one piece, Steins gate, Assassination classroom or monster Musume?

JoJo's Bizzare Adventure would be great, some of my ideas:

DIO (cost 3): Deal 7 dmg to an enemy. Stun all other enemies. Upgrade - cost 2

Jotaro Kujo (cost 1): Deal 2 dmg to an enemy 4 times. Synergy: stun a random enemy. Upgrade - Deal dmg 5 times.

Requiem Arrow (cost 2): If Giorno Giovanna or Jean Pierre Polnareff is in your deck, replace them (until the end of combat) with Gold Experience Requiem (if Giorno) or Chariot Requiem (if Polnareff). If both are in your deck only one of them will by replaced at random. If not gain 2 strength. Exhaust. Upgrade - cost 1, upgrades the given Requiems.

Jean Pierre Polnareff (cost 1): Deal 7 dmg. Penetration. Upgrade - 10 dmg.

Giorno Giovanna (cost 2): Choose one of the effects: heal 7 hp, deal 2 dmg 5 times to a random enemy or upgrade all cards in your discard pile. Purge. Upgrade - heal 7, deal 3 dmg 5 times, also upgrade your hand.

Chariot Requiem (cost 3): This and next turn enemies will attack each other. Purge. Upgrade - cost 2

Gold Experience Requiem (or GER if text takes too much space) (cost 3): Deal 2 dmg 7 times. Heal for the amount of dmg you received last turn. If this kills an enemy, double this battles rewards. Purge. Upgrade - Deal dmg 8 times.

Caesar Zeppeli (cost 1): Deal 2 dmg. Gain 2 block. Shorten the duration of a random debuff on you by 1. Synergy: Remove a random debuff instead of shortening the duration. Upgrade - 2 dmg 2 times. 2 block 2 times. Shorten debuff by 2.

Rohan Kishibe (cost 2): Change an enemy's intent to one of those: attack for 7 dmg, gain 7 block, gain 1 strength, inflict 1 weak and 1 frail. Upgrade - dmg and block reuced to 5

Josuke Higashikata (cost 2): Deal 2 dmg 5 times. Heal 3 hp. Upgrade - heal 7 hp

Okuyasu Nijimura (cost 1): Deal 10 dmg. Exhaust a random card in your hand. Synergy: You can choose which card to exhaust. Upgrade - Deal 15 dmg.

Kakyoin Noriyaki (cost 1): Deal 5 dmg to all enemies. Each of them has a 25% chance of not receiving any dmg. Upgrade - 7 dmg. 20% chance. (Also, it would be nice if instead of getting the percentage stats on card text, you could just write "No one can just deflect the Emerald Splash!")

Stand Giving Arrow (cost 0): Channel a random orb or deal 4 dmg to yourself (effect choosen at random). Exhaust. Upgrade - deals 2 dmg. Draw a card.

Guido Mista (cost 1): Deal 5 dmg. Apply 1 Voulnerable. Synergy: Apply 2 Voulnerable instead of 1. Upgrade - Deal 8 dmg.

Yoshikage Kira (cost 2): Choose a card in your hand. Next time it is played it will also deal 4 dmg to all enemies and be exhausted. Upgrade - the card will deal 5 dmg

Bites The Dust (Unplayable): If you receive lethal damage while this card is in your deck, your hp will be reverted to the value it had at the end of the previous battle, you will deal 10 dmg to all enemies and this card will be permanently removed from your deck. You can encounter it only once per run. Cannot be upgraded. (Alternativelly, you could make it that the Stand Giving Arrow card will change Yoshikage Kira into this card, like Requiem Arrow changes Giorno and Jean, in that case, Kira would have the "only one encounter per run" thing.)

Diavolo (cost 2): Card text: King Crimson - It just works! Effect: This turn enemies will not deal any dmg to you, they also can't apply any debuffs. At the beginning of your next turn deal 6 dmg to a random ennemy. Upgrade - Text: It works even better! Effect: deal 9 dmg at the start of the turn.

Trish Una (cost 1): Deal 5 dmg. Apply one weak. Synergy: Apply 2 weak. Upgrade - deal 8 dmg.

Bruno Bucellati (cost 1): Deal 2 dmg 4 times. You can use this card out of combat once per chapter to ignore paths. (Even if you have more than one of this card in your deck, the effect can still only be activated once.) Upgrade - deal dmg 5 times.

Illuso (cost 2): Remove an enemy from the battle. If you don't win in 2 turns it comes back. Cannot be used if there's only 1 enemy. Upgrade - enemy removed for 3 turns

Tamami Kobayashi (cost 1): Apply slow to the enemies who attack you this turn. Exhaust. Upgrade - cost 0

Terunosuke Miyamoto (cost 1): If the enemy doesn't intend to attack stun it. Turn the enemy's intent into a 0-cost card. Exhaost. (Intents>cards: block>gain 5 block, debuff>apply 1 weak and voulnerable, purple debuff>apply 3 weak and slow, unknown>add a random colorless card to your hand, all of those cards purge). Upgrade - cost 0

Mikitaka Hazekura (cost 1): Choose a card in your hand that costs 1 or less. Change this card into it's copy. Shapeshifter. Upgrade - cost 0

Ghiaccio (power) (cost 1): Every time you receive attack damage channel a frost orb. Upgrade - Innate.

As for other series: Gabriel DropOut, Date a Live, Haiyore! Nyaruko-san and Death Note.

English is a secondary lang for me so excuse the grammar/spelling mistakes that I made. Also feel free to balance the cards in any way necessary, but it would be good if the Requiems stayed as powerful as possible.

Curse/Status card "Kono dio da!". has a X chance to be played instead of the skill/power you were trying to use (when in hand?), do 5 damage to the enemy (Dangerous against spiked enemies). Exhaust. (You thought you would play a defend, but you played me! DIO!)

Could be spawned by playing a Dio card? Allowing for making the card stronger but with spawning a "Kono Dio da" as a drawback.

I just want you to know that this is my favorite mod and I'm having a ton of fun playing it. If you are still looking for ideas, here's my pitch for my favorite anime.

Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica

HERE BE SPOILERS

Theme:
Magical girls fight until they drop (in this case, exhaust themselves) after which they go on to hurt their friends unless they are dealt with. The theme for this set is aggression, and exhausting themselves and occasionally exhausting some other cards.

Magical girls are slightly higher power than they should be, but have “Mahou Shoujo”.

Mahou Shoujo: After this card is played, reduce the damage and block by 5 for the remainder of the combat. If this card’s base attack and damage is reduced to 0, exhaust it and add a “Witch” status effect to your discard. Whenever an enemy is killed (by any card, not just this one), reset this card to its base attack and block.

Cards:

Madoka Kaname - Meguca Meduka. She seals the deals, deals the heals, and heals the feels. Get it? Because she stops the faustian bargains, and sorta heals the magical girls, and...Whatever. You get the idea.
2 (1): Power {R}
The first two times each turn a status card would be added to your hand, deck, or discard, exhaust it and heal 3 life.
Made to counteract Mahou Shoujo witch triggers, but also works on a lot of monsters. Or Goblin Slayer, I guess.

Homura Akemi - Time manipulation. Effectively infinite prep time. Uses modern weaponry, or more accurately, whatever she can get her hands on while time is completely stopped. You’ll never guess what she’s going to pull out of her personal hammerspace. Unless you guessed gun or explosive. Then you’d be right.
2(1): Skill {R}
Search your deck for an attack, put it in your hand. It costs 0 this turn.
Seems moderately overpowered when combined with Berserker, or crazy Gilgamesh or Elesis. But it’s rare, so...Also Homura is best girl. Fite me.

Sayaka Miki - Uses a sword. Possess speed that borders on teleportation.
1: Attack {C}
10(15) damage, 10(15) block
Mahou Shoujo
Synergy: gain Blur

Mami Tomoe - Uses lots and lots and lots of muskets. In rapid fire. Finishes with a single very large...musket...cannon...thing
2: Attack {U}
15(20) damage to all enemies.

Kyoko Sakura - Uses a chain-spear thing. At least at the beginning, she doesn’t care about the others, hence the exhaust another card. And piercing for spear, because I am not creative enough to come up with something more accurate.

Synergy: you may exhaust a card in your hand.

Kyubey - He did nothing wrong! ...Okay, well, maybe a couple things wrong. But it was all for the good of the universe! He uses up others for their power and then leaves them to rot when they have served their purpose. Also he’s adorable!

Choose a card in hand. Play that card twice, then exhaust it. Add a “Witch” status card to your hand (discard pile).
Not sure how this would interact with a Mahou Shoujo on her last legs. I don’t think adding 3 witches to the deck is quite fair. Maybe reset that card’s Mahou Shoujo counter prior to playing the card?

Walpurgisnacht - Biggest, baddest witch of them all. On a clock and slated to show up and wreak havoc at a certain time in the near future.
(Unplayable) Skill {U}
When this card is drawn, discard it and draw another card. When this card is drawn for the third time, deal 30 (40) damage to all enemies, exhaust this card, and add 2 “Witch” status effects to your hand.

Charlotte - Cute. Eats things. Likes cake. Is a physical embodiment of horror and depression. Yay.
0: Skill {C}
Purge this card, then heal equal to the number of purged and exhausted cards. Maximum 10 heal.

Witch - Kyubey’s cruel joke. The fated end. The answer to the eternal question “What would it feel like if I got really high and was being chased around an M.C. Escher gallery by my grandmother?”
1: Status
At the end of turn, each enemy gains 1 strength.
If played, exhaust this card.



Issues:
I feel like this ought to have more block, considering the only block is gained from an attack and all the skills just find/play other cards or do damage. Ah well. That’s kinda the point, that magical girls go for the kill more often than not, and the deck starts with defends in it anyway. After recognizing that there is only one card with block in it, Mahou Shoujo could be simplified to only affect damage, and Sayaka’s block boost could drop from 10(15) to 8(10). Also I have no idea if this is balanced. I tried to keep it similar power level to other cards, but the mechanic of Mahou Shoujo is inherently unbalanced, varying widely whether you are fighting a boss/elite vs fighting several smaller enemies. I can see a deck relying on Mahou Shoujo cards in the small fights, then exhausting them to shrink the deck in boss/eiltes. Maybe

Im not good at creating cards so i just tell something bout the series itself aswell as something bout the chars. maybe someone get an idea.

Seriesname: Senki Zesshou Symphogear (watch it if u didnt already)

Hibiki Tachibana:
Energetic Girl, somewhat clumsy and dumb, reliable friend, straight forward. Prob most broken char ever? :D In fights she is CQ-Fighter with fiists. Gear is called Gungnir. She can do crazy stuff under circumstances like S2CA-Triburst or S2CA-Hexaconversion and more broken stuff.

Probably something like Ironclad, but with fists.



Tsubasa Kazanari:
calm, claims she is a sword and act cold as one. Member of idollike group.
In fights she is CQ-Fighter with a sword. Gear is called Ame no Habakiri.

Nearly straight copy of Ironclad.



Yukine Chris (<- 100% Waifumaterial)
Tsundere as ♥♥♥♥, shy, sometimes coolheaded, sometimes not. Did i mention that she is best girl?
In fight she is LR-Fighter with all kind of LR-Weapons ranging from Bows to Railguns to MGs
Gear is called Ichibaru, some dudes got the idea for Ichaival.

Either a high defense cards or cards like buffer to simulate evasion.




Kirika Akatsuki:
Nothing todo with the one from Naruto D:

Further Information:
All Gears are made out of ancient artifacts or mythological ones and turned into relics in form of a red crystalike pendant.
Enemies are Noise. Creature who can turn humans with no gear into carbon by just touching.
In later seasons there are other foes.

Maybe you get some ideas for this. But i guess it woud be better if they are seperate modded chars with cards. Probably there could be over 20 cards alone for this anime XD
