-Vanilla Kenshi Update-
[Vanilla] Kenshi's Blood spider range has since been reduced to 18, so this mod now buffs the range up to 25 rather than reducing it.
And just as description, this mod also increase Skin Spider range from the base 35 up to 40.

It is worth noting that a good number of people prefer this range rather than what is now considered [Vanilla]. Use as you please.

Do you need to import your game if you remove the mod?

Personally, I'm unaware of the specifics of what importing actually does. It's a change of a single value of a single creature, so my common sense says that would be absurd to require an import. Learn about what importing actually accomplishes, and then you should be able to answer your own question and many questions like this in the future.
