This mod includes the same special node configuration from Deep Space Mining, which adds strategic resources.
You don't need to subscribe to it for this mod to work.
They are compatible though, so if you want to gain strategics from controlling the nodes via influence/rooting/hacking as well you can use both mods.
It says it harvests 50% of the node´s ressources. If I put 2 of these modules on a ship, does it mine 100%?
Or do I need 2 ships for 100% yield?
Or can it never be more than 50% yield as long as I don´t have influence over the node?
No influence required.
I have finished researching Mining Lasers, yet I cannot see them under either Weapons or Support Modules. I`ve tried all the ship models available to me but nothing shows up. All your other modules are available, though. I use both DSM and its companion mod. Do you have any idea what could be wrong?
I found it under Weapons: Obsolete Designs. Duh. It was the one thing I hadn`t tried, wouldn`t you know.
