Armored enemies are too damn frustrating
Now I know what you're thinking, "Get good lol then it will get easy" but I have to say this. The ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ enemies in this mod are so damn difficult to kill. Trying to kill enemies with armor is too hard in the earlier levels as you can't cancel their attacks. I have a hunch that ironskin makes it harder for an opponent to cancel your attacks since Veteran fighters are impossible to beat at all in the first few levels, but Jesus I cannot tell you how frustrating it is when 99% of the bandits you can fight are walking tanks that take all of your hits without even flinching.

I'm still just dealing 0 damage while using an axe, if its not broken don't fix it,
its the complete opposite when I'm using using the same arms and equipment,
just keep the same balancing system as native or bring it back as an ingame option

Raise your proficiencies (one hand, 2 hand), get a horse, aim for the head, invest in more str and power strike, try to get the damage bonus from speed modifier, if you suck and fail to deal damage with weapons that have a [damage number]c, then use weapons that deals either p or b. Makes sense realistically that you can't just cut through someones heavy metal armor.

TL:DR git gud scrub

also btw the system aint changed much, only some modifiers which you can easily change with notepad. and it is made so you aint supposed to win every battle, you're supposed to get defeated early or retreat much more instead of steamrolling and be som ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ jesus

Get a horse and a war spear, and wreck the enemy in the early game. For sieges, one handed war ax and two shields - exposed face shots, or overhand blows work alright.
