Sorry, but this whole specs-stuff is not my cup of tea. I like playing SE as a game to relax, pretty much only in creative, and I prefer looks over efficiency. Yes, this ship can fly in an atmosphere and there is enough room for adding addional thrust if needed. Also, I threw in a couple of 100k stone into the cargo containers, ship was still able to fly easily. Again, sorry :)

I just got this game for the same reason you do, but I can't do nothing, all YouTube videos don't work when I try them, I'm more pissed and high blood pressure than ever before and have turned violent on anyone who tries to interrupt me trying to figure this game out, if you could please teach me this game, I'll pay you.

Just take your time, don´t rush things. Also, things never work first try. If you want to have moving parts, allways keep a gap between block. And if you are playing creative mode: turn of block damage while building :)
