Metallics do tend to have better true colors where other materials can look off by comparison. I couldnt say with any confidence what materials are at work here though.

I think it looks fine without the metallics, but who knows. Hopefully this creator isn't like that one clod that got aggressive toward people asking for metallics on his skins.

metalics would defintely be nice. I have a color theme for all my warframes that requires gold, so metallics on this would be pretty. As just a constructive criticism, the head does seem slightly big.

actually there are alot of metallics just look at the 6th picture, the blue color is complete metallic.

I was worried I would find this. Are you intentionally spewing crap on someones creation to try and create a negative experience for some unforseen purpose or are you clearly just all about the attention?

As for metallics, I believe that no metallics are sometimes better sure it affects your gold scheme as one previous post mentions but thats eh given the base excal skin does not show much metallic in default colors unles im blind.

As for the head size check out Nyx Carnifex people made a similar comment and well it worked when tweaked a minor bit so I can agree that could be of benefit

Eh wondered when Pickle would get his friends to join in. Though glad to see valve mods removed the post you might want to do the same.

After some thought regarding your original post I can see why Excal Umbra or normal would benefit from metallics but I also think non metallic skins need to be given a chance too. Maybe polling the community somehow and seeing if DE can come to the party with color pallettes that change surfaces from metallic to non and vice versa? I would totally be behind that like with the rare af gold dyes from GW2 that made metal armor look SHINY.

For me pattern is git gud but helmet is kinda too huge

There are metallics. Check the neck region in the image at the top of this thread. It's the lighting and the skin's own color contrast that's doing harm to this skin's presentation.
