Take down donations or take down this mod.
Hello, I am Warman, head of the true Medieval mod, 1212 AD. I have come to demand you take down your Paetron links and cease with the constant begging for money.

I don't know if you're aware but we do NOT give permission to use our works in such a manner and we do NOT condone this behavior. And before you talk about how we heavily use OSP stuff, you're just picking a different poison cause it's against their terms as well. It's one of the few rules those open source things have. So I speak not just in behalf of the true Medieval mod but of the asset creators we took.

You do not need donations to make your mod. You leverage longer dev times to guilt trip players into giving you money. It's not a financial issue to bring a campaign together it is a time issue. And I can promise you, especially if you're the only one working on it it's gonna take a while anyway. But here you are trying to enticing people with your incentives of "a custom unit" and "immortal character" as if you are a friggin triple A publisher here. That's not what modding is about. These are passion projects, not cash cows.

We are willing to have your mod stay up if you take down the bogus money begging and paetron stuff. We have long since moved on to Attila and are fine with having a spiritual successor on Rome 2. But that doesn't mean we're gonna allow you to get away with this practice. This is your only warning. I'm screencapping this in case you delete it, so for both our sakes do the right thing.

Just saw this thread man..Need to remind you that this mod does not contain any model from MK 1212 mod for Rome 2.
So I can build my mod development's practice as I wish. Donations always were voluntarily thing and I know that.

Okay, now you are insulting my intelligence, you're literally using assets from our mod. You can see that in your screenshots. There's specific shield textures I made myself and much, much more. So don't lie to me, it's insulting. And we all know that you are extorting donations even if it isn't out right required. You literally said that progress will be slower if people don't donate and are lying saying that if people donate they'd get the campaign mode in a few months. You and I both know it would take much longer to get that done, donations or not but evidently you are not above still pretending it does anyway.

Your practices with the donations are such an insult to modding. You brag about how ambitious your mod is and how it's a Medieval 3 and because of that it deserves donations for compensation. That is a spit in the face to me and my team and everything we stand for. We've put years of hard work into our mod and we do it because we love modding and love Total War. That's what modding is about, we work on our "Medieval 3" because we want to and because it's fun and because it's our passion project. We don't whine and complain and beg for money. If it's that much of a strain, no one is forcing you to mod.

Again though, if you just cut the crap with the donations everything will be cool. You could easily fulfill a niche since we've moved on to Attila. Donations aren't needed to get the attention. For your sake, please take down your donations. If you don't I promise you that the powers that be (CA and Steam) will intervene and it won't be fun for anyone.

I had a dialog with man from CA about month ago. He said me how to change some my expressions about mod's support and I did it. So I solved some misunderstandigs with CA.
About insulting - you are adult man and can do whatever you wish and I will not try to change your mind.
I asked for support cause I really could allow myself spend couple of months working on this mod 7 days a week. So that not happened and mod will be delayed. If u are not satisfied with such explanation, i feel ok about it.
Some bad words you say don't hurt me, but just let it over cause people can think that you don't like competition.
p.s. Kudos to your work with 1212 ad!

It says right on your 1100 Mod page that it needs Medieval Kingdoms Total War Second CB Release (Reuploaded) to run. I dont see how you claim there is no models from 1212 even if thats so its clear that it still uses other parts of 1212 mod. I am all for both creations and love the work but when i see something clearly wrong i have to point it out.
