Norse Expedition
How the hell do you do anything with this faction? is it a throw away faction? I've spent like almost 2 hours trying to figure out what to do. Attacking scotland right off the bat doesn't seem to work, they easily beat my units, even if they're out numbered. By the time I most to europe, I'm down almost half my army so I don't see how I'm going to be able to attack any city or replenish units, and when I raid ,whether on land or sea, it's not enough to make up for how much my starting army costs, but I mean, If I cut people out of my army, that's only going to make it harder to take a city and it won't be to get much money unless I'm supposed to wait like dozen or more turns and maybe hire mercenaries?

TL:DR is norse expedition a throw away faction

Seems like you go for York recruit more units and then you Play of Scotlands Mistake either Brute force a Peace treaty and go for Ireland and then you start Raiding their territory for gold then you attack them with 3 Plus stacks of units

I actually have an insanely hard time getting money income in this mod. have any tips?

Try soft submod or easier difficulty

Also i suggest use Normal battle difficulty.
For Norse you can try go and conquer Friesland.

usually, I always play normal everything (since higher than normal and the ai is basically cheating) but when I do try to fight, seems like they just always have way better units than me. I'll try going for friesland next time I do play tho!

Hope u know that battle difficuty is not campaign difficulty.

yeah, still, the ai is kinda cheating in battle difficulty. ie their units have more defense, more dmg,etc. not because their units are better or anything, but just because the putting the difficulty higher just raises their stats across the board
