01/27/2015 VIP Mode
Hey,

Thanks SO much for taking the time to implement the actual "as_" game mode! I can't believe nobody has done this already.

Unfortunately, I can't seem to get it to work. I joined the match against bots, I joined CT, but neither I nor the bots were the VIP (atleast that I could tell). I then joined T side, and after killing the CT's for a few rounds, none of them seemed to be the VIP (I'd assume one would die and the round would end if it was the VIP, but the wound only ever ended after all CT's were down).

I'm very excited to try and help get this working. Perhaps is it something I'm doing wrong?

The script is actually from the map as_inferno_b1

I will look into why it does not work, it did work on my computer before I uploaded it. Although I had problems when packing the script file into the map file before uploading, it probably has something to do with that.

Seems to work perfectly so far! Thank you so much! Only issue I've found is on T side you can hear very quietly "Protect the VIP, team!", but that's hardly an issue.

Again, thank you so much for your time! Can't wait to play this with my friends. Will even look into hosting a server with it!

Thank you for reporting the problem so fast. I will fix the sound in the next update, alhough that wont be for awhile. I will focus more on graphics and bring it up to csgo standard but I dont have alot of time to spend on this map so it will take some time to do that. Anyway if you decide to host a server with the map please post the ip here, would love to try it out with real players and not bots!

With new bloodhound update, can you try using that script by marking out the special character and its name? That way its easier to identify VIP.
