Report a translation problem
So I downloaded the save using FTP and tested the save in singleplayer and the game crashed with an error very similar to the one that I had just seen in the server log. So I disabled mods and the save loaded just fine, after which I tested each and every one of the mods one by one and found what it was IQoL causing the issue.
After finding the cause, I promptly removed IQoL from the server and everything was fine again :)
But then all you can do is build, pick things by hand (branches/stones/plants) and access inventories. One accidental left-click punch thrown and you've bought a one-way ticket to your desktop.
However, if the reason you're not unplugging IQoL for now is the loss of one or just a couple NPCs, you might be able to use this method to customize them safely back into default ranges and then unplug the mod without the thralls being destroyed until the author can update it. Just a thought. :)
EDIT: Quick note, this will not work if your game/server state is already saved with a character in a bad animation. This is only helpful if your game save is loadable and crashes AFTER you get into the game world.
