----I can infinitely break open the vending machine and it magically restore the same amount of sodas which i can exploit to get infinite amounts of sodas
----the amount of 96 money or dollars weigh 2.4 which is extremely heavy for 96 dollars
I designed the output to be about the same as real-world values. Actual vending machines hold around 300 items when completely full, but since you never know when a machine is filled I made it so it chooses a random amount between 10% full (30 units) and 90% full (270 units), which seems pretty fair since you're supposed to only be able to break them open once.
It's definitely a bug that you can do it over and over, so I'll have to look into that.
I agree, that's where I've been trying to work on a proper balance since it shouldn't be easy to walk around with thousands of dollars either, which after a few registers, the money really adds up.
If you'd like to change the default amounts for vending machines, or want to disable the money weight scaling, there is a config file name ZConomy.ini in your ~/Zomboid/Lua folder.
