How rare are the Chocobos? Which biomes? They're not appearing on Temperate nor Semi-Arid

I'm fairly sure I've ♥♥♥♥♥♥ them spawning in both of those biomes as an uncommonly distributed spawn, but I may have used 1.0 variables instead of 1.1. I'll take a look in the morning.

I just had some show up on the semi-arid spot, so that seems well at least.

Temperate Forest I've played for hours and they haven't shown up, not at towns for sale either.

I've got a story:
I've had wild chocobos spawn like 3-4 times in my playthrough, and each time I designated them to be tamed
And each time the chocobos would get upset and nearly murder my tamer (she made it in the end, but I was scared every time)
So I had several chocobo genocides, one time a chocobo broke through our gate and faced the flamethrower turret
We managed to tame a couple chocobos at some point, but I don't remember how they met their demise

burnt chocolate probably still smells just as nice as normal chocolate :)
