Update 17 - Il Duce
(yes, I kept track of the number from the previous server)

- New menu screen (Now with 100% more pixels!)
- New logo (White outline makes it more visible and less cancerous)

Italy
- Now actually starts with lore! It's a general lore, but for the moment it will suffice, as it explains situation
- Completed fascist path (Mussolini). Features custom gfx, plentiful demand events and end game war goals (which are for both monarchist and fascist path)
- Slight balancing of modifiers in the focus tree
- Slight balancing of starting troops
- Added new strategies for the AI
- New portraits for some generals
- East Africa from the monarchist path gets event that actually makes it relevant
- Adjusted borders of some states & provinces for better Italian borders

Turkey
- Small balance tweaks
- One new leader portrait! (marvel at our dilligence!)

Armenia
- Now starts with drastically smaller army (about one fifth)

Update 17.2 - Hotfix 2, Italian boogaloo

- Ports now work properly
- Fixed minor localization issues
- Fixed Austrian scripted peace events. Now it takes into consideration whether Italy already owns some states
- Hungary now dismantles their faction after winning over Austria
- Greek Claims now correctly give claims on Epirus instead of Zara
- Croatian claims now gives claims on Dalmatia regardless if Austria owns it or not
- Italian East Africa is now correctly a puppet after completing "Grand Duchy of East Africa" focus

Patch 18 - China & Italy Update
- Reworked Chinese Region, now consisting of:
- Qing Empire -- holding Manchuria and North-Eastern China
- Northern Revolutionary Front - Holding Northern China
- He Long's Soviet & National Liberation Front - Communist southern nations
- The Triads - an organized crime syndicate holding Hong Kong area
- Various cliques
- Fixed peace Hungarian peace deal borders
- Hungary now starts as a regency (neutrality)
- Czech State now starts as military junta (neutrality)
- Buffed Turkey - factory focuses
- Kazakhstan lost some states to Russia
- Turkish fascist faction formed via focus renamed to Turkic Axis from Axis
- New portraits for a few Italian, German and Czech leaders / generals
- Many Italian focuses now take longer to complete for balance reasons
- Command points limit raised to 250
- Various commands have cost reduced, so that people actually use them for once
- Fixed economy transition from "Decent" to "Low". Now it goes directly, and doesn't first remove the "Decent" level and then adds "Low" on another level
- Italy now has an expanded army focus branch (Monarchist branch soon)
- Italian economic idea focused on medium tanks now works properly
- New icons for Italian starting ideas
- Italian East Africa now spawns troops upon forming, making them way more useful
- Italian events no longer have a picture of Japanese troops

Patch 18.1 - Hotfix 1

- Fixed Hungarian monarchist party name, so that it no longer contains a symbol
- Added bypasses for certain focuses in case of war or country not existing
- Purchase Kenya & Purchase Tanzania focuses now function properly

Update 18.2 - Hotfix 2

- Cores fixed in the Chinese region
- Added Qing, Japanese and NRF leader focuses on offence, so they focus on conquering those around them (provisory, until they get focus trees)
- Fixed various Italian idea graphics
- Small fix in Autrian peace event
- Japanese vanilla events for peace with China will no longer fire
- Slovakia and Croatia will stay in Hungary's faction until they have regained their land

- UI Idea fixed - Education focuses
- Russia's capital is now St. Petersburg
- Fixed German focus tree so that it now gives resources in proper - territories
- Small addition to Italian focus tree
- Chinese factions have adjusted starting laws according to if they are minor/major

- Austria won't leave your faction as Italy if you have done it via focus

Update 23 - Freedom And Strife

TL;DR: Quite possibly our biggest update yet. India, Africa and North America all got massive regional reworks. In addition, there's 2 new focus trees for Poland and NLF (Vietnam). Many focus trees have gone through a change as well, such as British tree and Italian tree, which now finally has a completed monarchist branch

General Changes:

- People with no DLC enabled will now have the correct menu screen
- Main menu received a tiny visual update to be more visible
- Ideologies have new icons
- Custom, new icon for Rise of Italia in taskbar
- Story events now fire more reliably

India
- Indian region went through a complete rework
- Scramble for India event chain

NLF - Vietnam
- Received a brand new, fleshed out focus tree,

UK
- Received additional focuses for fascism and communism paths
- Now starts with less democratic support to avoid a civil war on switching ideologies
- British focuses tweaked to fit with the new Indian region

Ireland
- Now starts with less democratic support to avoid a civil war

Italy
- Monarchist path finished, now that India has been reworked
- Added additional "triumph" focuses for India
- "triumph" focuses have been buffed. They now cost way less days to complete
- Fixed Italian factory focuses, so that they now give correct types of factories
- OVRA national spirit buffed
- Weakened nations debuff slightly reworked to not be so severe in one field, but instead be less severe in more ways
- "Improved Propaganda" army xp cost halved

Iberia
- Gained colonies (see Colonial segment)
- Fixed the bug preventing ministers and advisors to show
- Merged vanilla Portuguese staff into Iberia with some balance tweaks

Germany
- German focus went through a minor rework
- German military advisors are no longer limited to monarchist path
- German democratic branch reworked
- "Wehrmacht" focus (GER) renamed to "Reichswehr"
Poland
- Balanced armies
- Starts with less factories now
- Poland has a brand new focus tree
- Removed Belarussian cores
- Fixed PLC flags

Kievan Rus
- In stalemate peace deal retains Krasnodar for the reasons of having a border with Turkey

Iran
- Askhabad transferred to Kazakhstan for more aesthetic borders
- Now starts with way better economy (Poverty >> Weak)

Mexico
- Received additional territory (see North American segment)
- Received major population boost
- Now starts democratic

NORTH AMERICA - Split into numerous nations, which will get focus trees soon.

ASIA MINOR
- Armenian starting templates changed, making them weaker
- Turkish starting templates changed, making them stronger


COLONIES
- Philippines transferred to Iberia
- Cuba transferred to Iberia
- Vietnam transferred to Iberia
- Dutch East Indies shattered and parts handed to France, United Netherlands, UK and Independent territory

DECISIONS
- 1.1.1938 unlocks "Scramble for India" decisions, that allow border wars for major European factions excluding Germany
- Specific "economy" decision now correctly costs 150 PP instead of 100 PP

- Upon Baltic unification with Poland, "Form Commonwealth" decision activates, allowing players who don't own Waking The Tiger to bask in the glory of the Commonblob

Update 24 - The Queen And The Mad King

Long awaited update is finally here! Even though we have ran into many problems that set us back with the update, we are proud to finally release one of our biggest updates to date, which adds a whole new RoI-unique game mechanic, and a major content update on top of that.


Big Changes:
- Brand new focus tree for Wallonia oriented on jingoism and a new formable nation
- Brand new focus tree for United Netherlands oriented on imperialism and communism
- Removed many "less useful" decisions
- Reworked various existing decisions to be slightly more viable
- Changes to "Strikes" "Draft Dodging" and other similar events/crises
- New war exhaustion system with penalties (up to a civil war) if left ignored.
- Many decisions and events ways to reduce war exhaustion
- Added a decision chain for Poland's monarchist path, which lets the player choose fate of Poland from a more diverse selection
- Brand new "Scramble For India" event chains
- Tweaked "Scramble For India" decisions, so that AI should be more encouraged to eat up India

Minor changes:
- New event chain for Britain to propose a "non-interference pact" in low countries with France, so that a world war wouldn't happen over Wallonia
- British Florida now made into a puppet state
- Fixed portraits in India
- Umberto II has a new portrait
- Leon Degrelle has a new portrait (Twice! Also has an extra new portrait as a Field Marshal)
- Wilhelmina now uses a vanilla portrait (Yes, it is available to people without MtG. Noone tell Paradox)
- New focus names/descriptions for Italian monarchist breanch
- Tweaked Russian civil war for a more reliable peace deal trigger
- Nerfed Netherlands [Flanders province now has 7 building instead of 12]
- Tweaks for Turkey
- Localisation fixes
- Improved communist tree
- Improved Industrial branch
- Few extra portraits
- Did some changes to make the game more compatible for people without DLCs
- Removed various vanilla events that are obsolete in the mod
- Burma now has a proper name
- Italian civil war is now easier for the player
- Cape Commune (South Africa) has a new flag
- Fixed various wrong unit starting positions
