This is sort of in response to what Ledeir had said in the comments sections, about not being able to ask for funding due to terms of service issues.

I see the lack of being able to get funding for these sorts of huge user generated campaigns as being a big issue in the SRR modding community. I obviously understand that Harebrained needs to get their cut otherwise you are essentially making money off of their work (and are thus stealing), but maybe they could do something through their website (or a separate site run by someone on their team) where fans could donate money to certain Harebrained Schemes backed projects, that way harebrained could take their cut off the top, and the rest could go to helping out the modders to get their games off of the ground. I really think this would help the SRR community.

Anyways, anyone have thoughts on this?
