Pride Patched
It doesn't look bad, And I hate things like this.
There's no need to inject your sexuality in everything you do, you know.
It looks damn cool, too. Which sucks.

there's no need to inject your boring personality in everything you do, you know. :steambored:
There is literally no trans representation in games right now, this is just a symbol of pride in who people are.

Why does their need to be?
Why not start with an interesting character and flesh them out naturally as opposed to starting with a personality.

I wouldn't turn my nose up at an interesting character who happened to be trans.
In fact, I could name a few I like.
- Bridget from Guilty Gear
- Leo from Tekken
- Poison from Final Fight

But I don't see your point.
This warpaint isn't a character. Why do you need a texture in a 12 year old videogame to be proud of who you are?
I'm gay, and I'm proud of who I am.

People need this because we need to normalize these communities in media and irl. With the warpaint we could do that and let LGBT people feel more comfortable in this community.

first of all, the TF2 community doesnt need sh#t.

its an old game with 99.9% straight characters in it the 0.01% being pyro since no one knows what the f#ck pyro is and it doesnt need to be known, while the player community is by far the most diverse group of people in any steam game to date.

the community doesnt need to be normalized to anything, as the community itself isnt normal.

we have wizards, god & satan, bread monsters, talking books, robots, life extending gold, that also happens to make you super buff and grow a mustache alongside the additional chesthair shaped as australia, and JANE MOTHER F#CKING DOE.

Well, while items that match the themes in TF2 tend to be a better idea, generally, in a way we create our own characters through customizing them. There are lots of items in the game that don't really fit the official story or characters, but people still enjoy them.

It's also kind of funny that you refer to a hivemind when replying to them, when about half of the comments against it are literally the same exact phrase, joke or not.

hey duckscout stop being a sjw we don't need any gay representation stop lying to yourself that gays aren't represented media are full of far leftist ♥♥♥♥

Well, if we go off the opinion of the almighty MatPat, creator of the famed "TF2 VS Overwatch" video, then technically the Pyro is gay, which means that 11.111% of the characters in TF2 are LGBTQIAblahblahblah, which is actually over-representative of the actual number of LGBT people in the real world. Besides, the game is based in the 60's, which wasn't exactly the best time for gay people. Valve will never put this in their game in a million years anyway, not because it's a bad skin, it actually looks pretty good, but because by throwing in all this ♥♥♥♥ about pride, you've made a political statement. They will never put it in because to put it in would be to agree with a political statement. Which is a real shame, because, again, it looks really cool, but it's ruined the second you realize that it was only made to make a political statement, and a stupid one at that. Being gay is not something that you should be proud of at all. I'm straight and I'm not proud of it. You're not doing anything to be proud of by liking the same gender. And don't give me that garbage about how 'brave' gay people are. Being gay nowadays is not brave at all, at least not in the West. If you're gay, the only thing that happens to you is you get praised by everybody, and anyone who DARES criticize you is immediately lampooned and labeled a homophobe.

Just shut up. My god.

If you wanna normalize it just stop talking about it.
If people just stop caring about sexuality then it can be normalized.

Politely, I disagree. I don't think we need to normalize it. It's normal.
The only people now-a-days who seem to think it's weird to be trans or gay or what have you are members of the LGBT.
