Suggestions
If you have any suggestions/ideas, this is the place.
What I'm especially looking for:
-Ideas of new abilities to unlock as the player gains XP
-Side missions ideas.
-Feedback with the balance of the mission (too hard or too easy ?)
Of course, any other suggestions is welcome :).

MP:
-Only host can achieve side missions.
-HQ messages and notifications are local and not broadcasted across all the computers.

I love this mission! I paricularly enjoy playing with the different values at the beginning. Here are a few things I'd love to see incorporated into this mission, in no particular order:

- more enemy vehicles and aircraft
- clearing occupied settlements
- ambient civilians you need to avoid killing
- random hostile patrols between zones
- ability to choose playable or hostile factions (ability to play as or against third-party community created factions would be amazing!)
- ability to choose your loadout at beginning (if you want to go as the AR for example)

Side mission ideas:
- missions having to be done necessarily at night
- convoy interdiction
- sniping hvt
- patrolling within two waypoints (clearing ambush)
- picking up a package, vehicle or VIP and delivering it elsewhere

Great job! Just played a few hours and it's really fun and working great so far. I just have one suggestion: It would be nice if the HQ messaged you when the enemy attacks. My game just ended because the HQ Officer was suddenly dead.
An idea for a mission is OPFOR has an airbase with anti tank fixed wing aircraft and BLUFOR has to capture it and use them against OPFOR

Alternately, just have BLUFOR sabatoge the airfield by blowing up the aircraft
Hey awesome job on the mod, but there's a small problem with spawning AI for you to command. Sometimes they appear under the HQ and there's no way to unstuck them, they can go prone but they refuse to move, maybe it could be fixed if they spawned like squads outside the HQ?

@Superfluid: Thanks for the suggestions, will definitely take a look at the combat patrol side mission. I also plan to add a few prefabs settlements, but I'll have to wait for the release of Altis.

Great mod! I had a few suggestions and/or ideas that would be cool. I was using the mechanized infantry squad and I thought it would be awesome if the infantry guys actually mounted up in the APC and then dismounted when they either got engaged or when they got to where they were going. The APC's would just drive up ahead and leave the infantry behind and you had to wait for them to catch up. Another cool thing would be the ability to spawn pilots and crewmen from the individual spawn selection. That way I could buy and empty helo and put AI pilots in it for support. Lastly, I'm not sure about this one because I only ever captured one zone, but for me there was only ever 1 other BLUFOR unit helping me out and it was always a group of infantry that just ran at a zone and got killed. I was hoping for a few more BLUFOR units on the map to help me out and give it a bigger scale feel to it. Last thing! I thought it would be cool if the OPFOR had a base just like the BLUFOR base and they spawned units there to counter attack with. So basically like the current When Diplomacy Fails mode in Arma 2 where the zones would generate CP's over time and holding more zones means more points. So almost like a strategy game only in an FPS. Hope that all made sense lol, I tend to ramble. Love the mod though! I bet it'll be amazing on the new Arma 3 terrain!
I think it would be cool to have a side mission where you have to investigate a missing patrol, when you arrive in the area, mutiple things may happen, some including.

Ambush
Protect Patrol
MedEvac (Drag wounded soldiers to a ghosthawk that flies them off) while under fire.

Since I haven't played much of the mission, I don't know if this is already in it, sorry if I am just taking up space!

Great mission by the way! Can't wait until co-op comes out.
Really loving this mod. Allready got a lot of good hours with it. My suggestions: It could be nice addition if you could "upgrade" your FOBs. Like buying patrols to protect the FOB or snipers on the roof. I dont know if it is even possible to add , but it would be nice imo. Also: is it possible to change the loadout of your squad members?

I just got through for the first time with the default starting config.
Ive not been able to find an explanation for the rating you get in the end, when you captured the island. Would be great if you could include that in the manual. (Got a 1460 btw, dunno whether its good or not)

(sry for the crap that i replaced here...)

Request a sniper/marksman into your squad.
I second the marksman into your squad suggestion, also I would reduce the time between calling in the heli taxi. I'm just waiting around sometimes until the cooldown is done. Otherwise great mod. Pretty much all I play in Arma atm.

@Slug & Stealth: I added the requested units. About the cooldown, it's already pretty fast to be honest, I decreased it a bit.
