Walk toward the exit and you will be interrupted by a forced conversation, after which you can leave.
I just have two problems:
1) When entering the fight with the Lone Star guys (within their building) some team members don't have their weapons equiped (This cool spy girl with the hidden pistol only has that one and my own char (a mage) has no weapon at all even if he should carry a shotgun)... maybe this is not a bug but just something I'm not aware of?!
2) I can't make my hired decker using the matrix interfaces. Again I'm not sure if it's a bug but if not I don't see any way of proceeding.
First of all, thanks for playing!
1) Yi should have a second pistol equipped, an Ares Predator with Silencer. I'm not sure why your character's weapons are disappearing when you start; did you accidentally remove it on the Equip screen before the scene starts?
2) This is a good catch. Since you can't control hired runners outside of combat, you can't get the hired decker to use the matrix interface. I will add an option to manually start turn-based mode so players can get their hired decker to interface with the matrix. You can also get the mission done by using the Lone Star exec in the office, and I will add another option to manually enter a keycode you can find through exploring so that the matrix is not necessary.
I can see Yi's Ares in the inventory menue but as soon as the fight starts she only has her primary weapon available... the other hired ones can flip through their weapons. Maybe it has something to do with the weapon skill? To low to allow a second weapon?!
The alternatives for the decker would be cool. Starting the turned based mode would be my first choice... deckers are a cool feature of this game :-)
I think you're probably right about the weapon skill issue.
I just pushed an update fixing a few problems, including the Lone Star ones. Enjoy!
I know why - to use smartlink weapons you need a jack (my samurai got an AK but has no jack - cant use it
To use Ares etc you need a certain skill level - Your team members dont have the skill required - again they cant equip it. And those without a jack cant use smartlink weapons.
To fix it you either need to bump their skill up or give them tier 1 weapons. In a sec Ill make some screens of weapons to give a general idea of ranged required to use them
No conversation is triggered,,,
Also an option for some basic cyber (eyes, jack, those things :P) before going to town would be useful as well (unless I didnt found it yet)
Thanks so much for that info, I'm fixing these issues now and adding a cyberjack option.
@Mystra
I'm not sure why you're getting this bug. Is there a man in a suit in front of the door as you approach?
@CrackedGear
Thanks, I added the missing spirit equipment. Do you have the ID and the keycard both for Lonestar? You need the keycard too.
- At winters I killed the response group before anyone else arrived. Now each time I move all the neutrals on the level make a hidden turn. They attack only after I move a bit further into the complex and at that time Im surrounded by NPCs I had no way of killing beore. Needless to say that fight is over soon..
So either do not allow combat to end or allow me to attack them somehow ;)
