Our server's admin got a bug where the compass would show up while the EN steering wheel was in his inventory. Shortly after that, his inventory became bugged to where it wouldn't go away. This bug happened to him enough to where he just deleted the mod altogether.

It may be important to know that he is running the game on 4K resolution.

Another member of the server also experienced the compass when steering wheel was in the inventory. He placed his wheel and the compass did not go away. He is running at 1080.

Neither of these people were actively steering their ships.

I personally did not see this bug. I am running at 1080.

i had this mod on my server, but removed it, because every time i crossed servers it would drop me from the ship in the ocean with hand still in steering position. and the ship sails where still up and sailing away.

i like the mod, but this need fixing first. i also think this should be part of the game

@MC_Gimpy the mod seems to be bugged, on the 1 tile test server it ran fine, untill we implemented it to the main, which is a 6x5 and now everyone is seeing random compasses pop up , otherwise i really like the mod, nice little neat addition to the game, not game breaking, and in the exact right spot to put it

For us, every time we pass a grid, its on the ship or its on our person.

Maybe you could make it a toggle while on the ship?

Few things I noticed when using it.

First I noticed right away, can't use skins on the wheel.
Second, is in first person view, the hands aren't on the wheel like the default one for the base game, and when looking left or right, the hands turn with the body, not just the 'head' turning to look. 3rd person view seems to be working for the most part.
Third, Not sure if this was intentional, or due to something changed in the base game from the last update, my visual sight, for removing the "Fog of War" from the map, has greatly increased to that of 5-6 regions sections, from (skills included) about a region and a half.

Little note... I play Single player version currently.

Bug related to Sextant Buff:

When a sextant is used it gives a buff that provides a similar hud enhancement that this mod provides. However if you have the sextant buff and get on the Navigation Wheel when you leave the wheel the compass disappears and you cannot get it back until your sextant buff runs out and you complete the sextant mini game again.

Could not build the podium part, didn't see it anywhere in the buildable options. If you spawn it in and place it you can't demolish it after.
