The damo_gamelink won't launch the game. It just creates a symbolic link to the workshop folder so you don't have to copy the files into your Black Mesa directory. If the link creation fails you need to copy the files. Lauching happens via the damo.bat or via steam if you want to use launch parameters. (-game damocles)
