I don't understand the complaints of this not being Grineer.
Not only is it clearly themed for that faction, but it's pretty obvious through the design as well.

Energy effects similar to certain Grineer weapons (Machete/Dual Cleavers)
Round design, which is a common shape seen through the Grineer aesthetic
Very clear Grineer stripe pattern
Green and red usage, common colors of the Grineer (red is used in their logo and Kuva, of course); also to note the yellow-orange energy that is also common
Augmented spine, somewhat similar to the Grineer and their mechanical augments

I don't see how this is not Grineer.

I mean, I can see what they're getting at, in particular the spine part (which is the part I love about it) exhibits a greater total amount of energy stuff than any grineer thing I can think of does. Glowy orange energy fits a lot, like other examples you mention. An entire back's worth of orange glowing does seem more than grineer actually use.

But yeah, as mentioned, that's my favorite part of this, if anything I probably would've liked it more if it wasn't grineer themed but the spine remained equally the focus- either way I like it a lot though.

its a bit too bulky for my tastes but it looks hella nice! if it were a bit slimmer at the top id buy it hands down

Leave it at, It's themed around grineer. It is not an item made for grineer, It is themed.

Their flesh is deteriorating constantly, doesn't mean their armor needs to be all beaten up & weathered too. Sure some Grineer armor/weapons look they've been through hell, but also alot of other ones are squeeky clean. So not really an argument why this creation wouldn't fit the Grineer style.
And even if this wasn't ''true'' Grineer, it's still the only faction that this creation has some resemblance from.
Unless someone wants to argue that this looks more like a Corpus or Infested creation lol.
