Recruiting merchants
Hey, great mod, really enjoying it. I've recruited a bunch of legendary/rare merchants to my settlement in the hopes of kind of having a trade hub a la the six day stilt, but it seems like the mod is treating them as regular ole villagers (i.e. they don't restock). Is this intentional behaviour? If I give them merchants tokens, will they retain their old specialities (books, ichor, schematics etc.) or will they inherit a general stock like dromad traders?

Cheers

Believe I made it so you can't give tokens to legendaries in general (the gifting of a token makes a non-legendary creature into one). But yeah it'd overwrite their old stock.

Fairly sure them being villagers have little to do with their restocking however, if they did before they should continue doing so. They won't upgrade their stock, but they can't anyway because of their unique stock tables.

If I recruit a merchant and give them a token will they stay the same type of merchant? I'm really tempted to try and recruit any gem stone merchants if they will stay that type as my last save before seeing this mod I was constantly hiking to the middle of nowhere just to condense my trade value into something less heavy.

You can recruit 'em (recruiting only costs faction reputation), but they're already merchants so the tokens'd be unnecessary.
