I've never tried one of these, but that seriously reminds me of the Assassin's Creed little shoulder-cloaks that some of them have. Maybe this is it? I'm determined on this one because this type of cloak looks so f***ing familiar! Great work, hope this gets in!

It looks a lot like a falling star or comet trails on the fabric. The pendant itself is a large bright star that wraps forward on the other end.

My bet is it is based on Polaris, the North Star, used for guidance by all before GPS was invented.

Oooh, that's a good idea. I was focusing more on the fabric and cape and such, but not the little pendant. Yeaaah I can see it! I hope one of us is right!
