Strong Inigo Vs Weaker Inigo
Hey guys. First off, thank you so much for all the great feedback and for spending time with my friend Inigo. I'm going to release another update soon and I'd like to hear your thoughts on the subject of Inigo's combat power. On the last update I slightly lowered his level multiplier and his health. Unfortunately hitting a balance that everyone will enjoy is hard and I'm still hearing he's too OP. I'm trying him out with elven arrows at the moment and I've decreased the speed and power of his ebony bow a little too. It now takes him twice as long to kill a mammoth. Technically he's roughly the same power as Mjoll (with points in archery instead of 2H) but I also customised his combat AI so there are a lot of factors to consider when making him weaker. Also there seem to be a lot of people who quite like him being a powerhouse... I'm trying to find a happy medium. Would you like him a lot weaker? A little weaker? Is a change of arrows enough? Any thoughts?
:o)

By popular demand - Inigo as had is claws clipped a little. He now does less damage and will sometimes react to you healing him. He's still quite powerful (A bit stronger than Mjoll) but hopefully you won't feel like his sidekick now.
:o)
Let me know how you get on.

I would vote that his power varies with your level a bit (if you can do that). Once I've played a character to the point where I can slaughter anyone I want, I usuallty prefer that my overpowered followers do it for me. But at lower levels when I find things a bit more challenging, I'm cool with followers being on the weaker side. OR! Even better, once you have most of the bugs and such worked out you can make a copy of the Inigo mod and call it "Inigo - OP Version" and just have him be a god. xD Either way thank you for making this mod. I really enjoy it and I hope you do more like it in the future.

I think if he was at the same lvl as I am when I 'recrut' him would do better. I am currently lvl 48 and he is lvl 62. It makes me feel like the follower at times. I look for a follower that helps, not hinders, saves me in a pinch, not take center stage and basicly run the game for me while I sit back and watch. LOL. Although, there has been at least one instance where I had to heal him up to keep him from dying, of course that was due to the game code that has followers rush out into danger even if you are sneaking around. Is there a console command that can change the lvl of a follower?

He should level with you not a head of you since the last update. Maybe dismiss him, wipe his files from your system and redownload him, then hire him again? Anyone else still having this problem?

I did the wipe, resubscribed and redownloaded. Then I went and rehired him, but he was still at level 62 while I am still at 48. However, I did find the console command 'setlevel' and was able to reset his level at my level with no problem. BTW, I just made him a pirates hat from the Immersive armors mod I got at nexus. He looks really cool in it even though he still complained about it mashing his ears!

I think changing his arrows is a good idea. I got tired of him easily killing things before I got to them so I confiscated the ebony arrows for my personal use and replaced them with steel arrows and he seems a bit less OP to me now.

What are his stats, anyways..?

Maybe if he didn't start with ebony weapons, cuz at a low level, that is a bit too OP in my opinion also, what if he 'ran' away from enemies he feared (dragur for eg) or he just stood back a little?

Sorry for the suggestion, Inigo is already great, even at just version 1.1 or something, and I know you have already got an endless list of things you want to do, but if at some verrrrrryyyyy late point, you could consider something like this, even if it's after Inigo has been finished, and a completed project?

You revived a really dead thread but I'll answer anyway. You're supposed to take his weaker starting gear in the cell chest if you didn't want those extremely powerful ebony weapons. I'm fairly sure he starts with an iron torso and a steel sword using the chest.

Sucks At Video Games, I cant find a chest in his cell, as there isnt one due to a mod that I have, so I cant.

As the main poast says this version is massivly outdated. It's litterally the most basic version of Inigo available. Please update to the Nexus version asap.
