I would like make balence my mod for reduce expansion with 1356
I make a mod for reduce expansion in eu4 with some others balance. It work very good on Vanilla but, with 1356, during the first century it's cumulate penality for war score / agressive expansion. I'm looking for some help for doing something about that. It's plyable but very hard, specially for country in the hre, sometime they can't take 1 province at the begining.

So I've been reworking our early game modifiers a bunch for the next major patch, some of the things you seem to have done here I've already added! Though I may take a few ideas from you, as Early Game 1356 should be about Centralization, Alliance forming, and growing slowly. Battles should be slower, as should the pace of Combat, with a bigger focus on Mercs (to represent a lack of a standing army.)

If you want some help, do let me know as I'll happily share what I've been working on with you, as it could be an interesting Mini-Mod for folks who want more balance for Vanilla EU4.

i play like 80% time with 1356 and my mod so i'm open to all your help /suggestion for find a way to make it full balence / compatible with 1356 :)

Theres no way to make it compatible, but if you give me time I'll fully look through your mod and see if anything can be used in 1356. Afterwards I can send you what I use and you're more than welcome to adapt it to fit 1444 if you'd like. Obviously it'd stay incompatible with the 1356 mod however, as theres no way to make that work.

If after the first century all modifier from 1356 left, it will be nice to find a way for my mod to work at this date or when modifier left, my mod make game more hard for players, it's for have a long game and build a country on the long time, and not make a world conquest. But as i like much begin in 1356, if you can help me to find a way to adapt it for 1356 it will be great tahnks :)

On closer inspection, yours seems to be tied more to Defines changes. While I can't quite do that to 1356, I'll happilly send you what I have. What you've changed I've tried to tweak in some way with triggered modifiers.

Each Tech Group gets their own Modifiers depending on the Feudal Age historically in their region. It's so far tested really well.

i've integrate futur modifier balence with my mod, some modification for hundered war, and 2 little modifier for crusaders and byzantium country ;) now work good with 1356 and original game :)
