Where is the game physically on the computer?
This may seem like a dumb question, but where is the game on my computer? I thought I would able to find it easily, but I have't been able to. I have the same problem with Civ5 which was installed via Steam. It has to be there otherwise I wouldn't be able to play the game when I'm not connected to the internet. I have no idea where the files are to even consider thinking about doing a mod. Yet I see people have created mods so it must be there somewhere. With EU3 it was easy because I could find where the game was on my computer.

I'm not sure this is where this question should even go.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common

This folder contains all of your steam games. If you want to mod the game though, you need to put the mods into
Documents\Paradox Interactive\Europa Universalis IV\mod

The mod folder has to be created first. The reason for that is that mods are replacement-folders for the original folders´. You shouldnt mod the original game, becouse otherwise you'll have huge problems with the game.

You can also right click on the game in your inventory and select "properties" and then choose local files location or whatever it is called.
