Really just a Misc?
Based on the lack of a shotgun in the images and one of said images showing an actual grapple hand, I feel like this could work as sort of an offhand grapple hook, kind of like Demo's shield. It doesn't compromise your current weapon, but still gives you mobility.

Well you could just build a level 3 sentry, grapple onto a ledge or something, and plop the sentry down in front of the enemy's spawnroom.

But doesn't that sometimes happen anyways? That, and the grapple would probably have a cooldown so you're not just playing Mannpower at all times.

That already happens via stickyjumping, and allowing an Engineer a safe way to escape without blowing himself to kingdom come would be very helpful, and worth losing the shotgun for a more defensive playstyle.

Just have it replace the wrench and remove 25 health.

Just like the spy's big earner...

You trade health for mobility.

No because you can't have your weapons out while hauling a building. Preventing you grappling with this while a building is out.

How about it doesn't let you build a sentry at all, but everything else can be built. Sentry for Grapple? Offensive engie. :conwayshrug:
