Maybe like a melee, but ranged. Y'know what I mean? Not a gun, but... y'know...

This is another situation in which I get really confused by angering people for seemingly no reason, isn't it? I proposed this could be a weapon, and you get this mad?

It doesn't have to be a grapple that can pull you around, it can just be a ranged weapon that acts like a melee.

If they make this a weapon they should have a snap taunt, because this looks very familiar.

dude this weapon could grapple....................ONTO PEOPLE and then the animation is just punching them with it

I think this would work well as either what NUK3D described or just a reskin of the Mannpower grapple hook.

That's great, but a bit too much. If they went for those, they would probably take a couple out, like the no level 3 provision. Still great though.
