With me the shadows wont pop up, i have a pretty good graphics card, its a rtx 1080, but the shadows wont pop up, even though the other effects work, please help

No problem, thx for taking the time to try and look into this, I appreciate it :)

I set my settings to be exactly what you had your settings on in the screenshot, but the lighting is still bugged out. I assume that you were doing it on gm_bigcity, but the lighting still won't work. Hopefully you can figure out what's wrong, but in the meantime, good luck!

Try -dxlevel 98. And use life mod and turn the shadows a bit better. Worked for me

Are u sure? Did the shadows pop up? And do i put -dxlevel 98 in the launch options? (In my steam library with gmod) Also, did it make the map shadows sharper like in the vid? (The og blobby ugly shadows in maps, before you download the mod)
