I have a filter to alert me whenever one of my mining caravan trips has completely stripped off the last of the resource they were mining. But the filter is by design made to search for ores in every map at once, so the alert is basically permanently active until my caravan gets onto a map with the ore I was searching for. Plus I imagine that it wouldn't help performance at all. So I think an option to either:

• restrict a filter to only activate when there are temporary maps generated (which then deactivate when that map is discarded)

or

• make a filter that only activate when there is one or more of something (like minable ores), alerts you when that number drops to zero, deactivates when you click on the notification, then reactivates again when that number rise above zero again

would really help.

Love the mod btw. It's made playing the game so much more enjoyable for me.
