Simple Chains: Lumber

Non-ideal sunlight
So, I have multiple drying racks that I just covered with a roof (to prevent rain from interfering with them.) I also added multiple skylights from Dub's skylights mod to ensure they got sun light (I can grow crops under these, so I don't see why they can't be used for drying lumber.) Is there any possibility you could patch in support?

And what is with non-ideal wind? Regardless of where I put my drying racks, they always have non-ideal wind.

Patching in the sunlight may be a bit beyond the scope of what I can do because that is all controlled by the Universal Fermenter middleware plugin this mod is tied into. Not something I programmed myself.

As for wind, I believe it just works like a wind turbine. Keep wind-blockers away from it.

That said, drying speed is based on temperature, sunlight, dryness (no rain/snow), airflow (wind), but the balance does not expect perfect conditions for every single one of those. You can usually just have some covered (but outdoor) racks for wind based drying, or uncovered outside for sun-based drying if it's not too wet there. Trying to do indoor drying could be a bit tricky.
