I'm used to just placing extra material and letting the mod decide how much to use and leaving me the remainder to take out when done. I'm sure others do this. This issue I have is when I build barbed wire. The barbed wire prevents me from getting close enough to take back any remaining materials that were not used.

Could there maybe an option to drop unused materials to the ground instead of leaving it in the inventory of the wall?
