I'd love to see it with deep red/rusty paint job, with a bright caution orange/yellow accents. The metallic innards look great as a dark steely grey. I'm thinking sort of along the lines of the contact beam from dead space, but in warframe's more vibrant aesthetic.

Absolutely phenomenal work, really. This is the kind of weapon design a studio could use as a centerpiece for a whole game. One of my favorite things I have ever seen grace the workshop.

Could it be possible to request some sort of 'army' color palette? Like green for the primaries, black for secondary, grey for metals, white for stripes and such, and red for the energy?

Some kind of darkness. Black utilities, dark grey plating and purple energy (I am usually mixin' it with green for cosmic horror or blood red for a nasty Immaterium/hell vibes). Some silvery tertiaries to make nice lining.

Ok, since you told us to be as specific as possible; Here's my actual ingame colour scheme:

• Primary: Smoke C5 R18 (dark grey)
  
• Secondary: Grineer C1 R17 (medium grey)
  
• Tertiary: Classic C2 R5 (dark blue)
  
• Accents: Orokin C2 R10 (slightly less saturated yellow)
  
• Energy: Orokin C1 R9 (slightly more saturated yellow)

I hope it helps to get the colours as accurate as possible. Thank you for doing this thread. You're the first person I've seen so far to do something like this.
