This really needs a better walk animation (Why not just use the existing walk animation for the bullet kin?), plus hands could be added, also lowering the gun and sword position as well as the hat position if possible.
add armour inserts, OR add invisible clothing to put in the social spot. but, if you really wanna go above and beyond, make little kevlar vests for them

Perhaps make some of the other guns from EtG for their different weapons. Other then that, I dunno maybe make the pet be Junior?
Here's an idea! For armor, the Caped Bulletkin's Cape could work, since it prevents contact damage in ETG. It doesn't have to do that here, but there could be multiple different capes that work as tiers of armor. You could also give the bullet at the start of the game the "Unfinished Gun" item as the first weapon.
Another idea! For helmet armor/cosmetics, you could use the helmets of Tankers, Minelets, the hats of Cardinals, and the Bandana of the Bandana Bullet kin! Alternatively, you could make passive items work as a type of armor, in a way.

ill be happy for that but add on the crazy explodie bois the gernade and the dynomite on legs but as throwables and get some of the items maybe too usables are probly the main fouces as im not shere how one would make the passive items like the super hot watch (only using it a referance as i know a mod does this thing effects in starbound) but the guneon stones that hield ya are good idea for a shield. ! just poped but maybe for the gun that kils the past from this quoted commet you have to kill etg bosses (some what ever you want) but deffintly have the one lech.
Maybe for S.A.I.L make it Agunim/sell creep, or make it Kaliber. Possibly have the pet as either the huntress dog, or just Agunim, crawling around like a degenerate. Another option for the pet is a bullet dog.

send me a pic of the bullet dog will ya but i can see the S.A.I.L. being the high priest too as i dont think kalabor is got a form in game in EtG

kaliber has statues but I would have to make my own anims for the sail, im testing the pc's cuz they have everything i need
I think for the ship, it should look like a giant gun.
maybe make a arrmor for him red cloak and sword like in game
make the bulet bigger, and that would fix the hands issue
Add customization options which the other types of bullet kin wear and turn the pet into the grenade or dynamite enemies
I would suggest you make the pet a Chance kin or a Shroomer.

The ship should just be a gun, and for upgrades just Duck tape[enterthegungeon.gamepedia.com] more guns to it

Armor you could take inspiration from variation, eyepatches, bandanas, military helmets, and various armor items , like the Gunknight set[enterthegungeon.gamepedia.com]

This mod has a lot of potential
