I'm not too sure what you mean by "old preset", but in general if skill icons aren't showing up, you might be missing the required mod OdinCore. Be sure to grab that and place it at the top of your load order in the Mods menu.

Also just to double-check, this mod will only work on the Definitive Edition of the game and will not work on Classic.

No, I mean that your presets like in Gravecaller and Hexen the skill icons show up, but in the original ones like Witch and Conjurer don't show.

Hmmmm.... I suspect this is caused by another mod then as I don't touch the default class preset skillsets/files. What other mods do you have on?
