List/Amount of known and unfixed bugs: 1

1. Special Situation: Fleet in pirate system with many pirate stations

! Important ! You should really not use any other mod that is not in the compatible mods list that modifies ship/combat behavior or computer ship components. Those mods can break ACG ship behavior.

ACG has modified combat and ship behavior that improves space battles a lot in my opinion.

But unfortunately in the special situation if your fleet is ~ in the middle of a system with many pirate ship stations => a pirate home system, it sometimes happens that it takes some time until the fleet kills all pirate ship stations.

The fleet will then probably move slowly towards the first pirate station and then back to the middle and then to the next station. That's an unwanted byproduct of my new combat/ship behavior and i don't know how to get rid of it yet without taking out my new ship/combat behavior overall.

Since this will only sometimes happen in pirate systems, it rarely happens during a full gameplay session. It should also not happen during any other space battle situation you encounter. Hence as long as the fleet is not completely stuck in the pirate system with many pirate stations i decided to accept this misbehavior in order to get all the positive effects during every other space battle situation.

Please also note: this behavior can sometimes vary depending on the ships and computer technologies in your fleet. Usually the more pirate ship stations that are getting destroyed in the same system, the faster the fleet should become in targeting the other remaining pirate ship stations.

But the ships should never be totally stuck i.e. never attack any ship station anymore (because that should have been fixed some time ago). If that still happens to you, i would ask you to send me your sav. file and tell me the list of mods you used together with ACG, so i will take a look at it. Thank you for your understanding :)

If you encounter any bugs please let me know and post them here BUT:

Please follow those steps:

1. make sure you are not using any other mod that could cause incompatibilities or troubles with Aesthetic Cinematic Graphics. You can do that

a) by turning OFF all other mods prior to looking if the bug still exists or
b) by checking the list of compatible and incompatible mods in this thread
=> If you can't find your currently used mod in those lists, just post your mods into this thread and i will take the time to check them all for compability!

2. Once you assured that the bug can't be caused by other mods (by following 1.) please post your bug here and i will try my best to fix it as soon as possible!

Missing model/texture. They are the Artisian Troupe, but no station has appeared, it's supposed to be the Enclaves station model.

Fixed if mod deactivated. Check around this file: enclave_station.gfx

Your enclave_station.asset is missing a lot of content compared to the current vanilla enclave_station.asset.

Not sure if this is a bug or actually an intended feature. The names of empires in the galaxy view are displayed over their symbols instead of below them, which kind of obscures the text.

1. fixed rare occasional bug when transport fleet was stuck and military fleet didn't attack them, while i also improved the combat behavior of transport ships (no stupid small circling anymore)

2. the upload of the fix of (1.) introduced a new bug for a short period of time (~22 hours): if you created new armies/transport ships those ships would instantly be deleted/despawned after their initial spawning. I fixed it now BUT due to the design of stellaris you need to follow those steps if you load a save game that shows that bug:

1. Go to game speed and play the game in ~normal speed
2. Press "F9" = enter the tab: "Ship Design"
3. activate auto ship design again (previously in your save game it was deactivated)
4. click on yes if it asks you if you want to delete old ship designs
5. now you can leave the auto ship-design activated OR you can deactivate auto-ship design again and create your own ship designs
6. the bug should be gone

I have come across another issue where fleets seem to get confused and just go around in circles when there are too many targets in a system (https://www.dropbox.com/s/hcf5uw54lsr05pd/Confused%20Fleet.sav?dl=0 is a link to the save file, watch the intercept fleet which is in combat).

I have also noticed that sometimes corvettes/destroyers with swarm/picket AI will not close range in combat and will hang out behind cruisers/battleships, and never actually get close enough to use their weapons ( I had been using autocannons).

I was just not in town from monday until now. So sorry for answering your comment late. Now i am back and i am going to work on all the requests i received while i was gone.

PS: i tested your uploaded sav game and it works with ACG now - but please also make sure that you aren't activating any incompatible mods together with ACG

Hey Ajey,
First of all I'd like to say: Really pretty mod, made watching battles a lot more pleasurable!

But since the last update I have either non at all or very strange laser projectile graphics (kinda like fireball-chains). Has anyone else encountered this?
