Troubleshooting Steps
Things to try if the mod decisions are not appearing for you.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Short method to try first (Refreshing the mod):
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Unsubscribe from this mod on Steam.

2. Run the launcher (start the intro game window) but do not start the game (click resume or play), wait a few seconds then close it.
[This is so the game checks your list of subscribed mods and it should delete the mod from the mods folder]

3. Subscribe to this mod on Steam.

4. Run the launcher again but do not start the game, wait a few seconds then close it.
[Steam does not download the mod when you subscribe on Steam, it downloads it when you run the launcher]

5. Now run the launcher, activate the mod and start the game. The cheat options should now appear in the National Decisions menu. If not go to the long convoluted method (deleting the mod folders).

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Long convoluted method where you manually delete the mod folders:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Subscribe to this mod on Steam.

2. Run the launcher (start the intro game window) but do not start the game, wait a few seconds then close it so that the linking mod file is created.

3. Go to the old mod location usually its (C:\Users\<Your Username>\Documents\Paradox Interactive\<Europa Universalis IV or Imperator>\mod)

4. Find the linking .mod file it should be called (ugc_<something>.mod) and open it with notepad or another text editor, inside the file there should the name of the mod (Catus Cheats/Catus Cheats IR)and there should be a line called (path="<something>") this is now where the mods are stored since the EU4 launcher update (and Imperator Rome).

5. Unsubscribe from this mod on Steam, and run the launcher (but do not start the game, wait a few seconds and then close it).

6. Go to the location in the line (path="<something>") and delete everything in that folder, and then delete the folder.

7. Then to be sure also delete the mod files in the old mod location (C:\Users\<Your Username>\Documents\Paradox Interactive\<Europa Universalis IV or Imperator>\mod).

8. Subscribe again on Steam and run the launcher (but do not start the game, wait a few seconds and then close it).

9. Now run the launcher, activate the mod and start the game. The cheat options should now appear in the National Decisions menu.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If the previous methods don't work then then try using the direct mod downloads, there are direct download links in the Discussion tab of this mod. With direct downloads you won't get updates.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Before you comment asking for help check if the mod has loaded:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In the command console (press ` or ~ ingame) type in:

For EUIV:
event catus_events_common.1

For Imperator Rome (You will need to launch in debug_mode first):
event 01_catus_common.1

If you get the response <There is no event with ID # (something)> or <Event (something) is not a valid ID> then the mod has not loaded properly.

Make sure you include whether the mod has loaded properly or not when you comment and also that the previous methods haven't worked.
