But for difficulty, there was some mini boss mod I can't remember the name of and there's LaughingLeader's Enemy Upgrade Overhaul which generates random buffs on enemy NPCs. Highly recommended.
awesome, as someone who enjoys stuff like long war, do you believe that the base game will provide enough of a challenge or do you recommend the upgrade overhaul mod?
I recommend EUO, myself! Without cheap tricks like enemies oneshotting you, the game is definitely easier in some respects.
the miniboss addon you might be talking about is Faheelee's Mini-Boss Monster Pack right? it seems like the addon has stopped development since july and has only added additional bosses upto lv 7 as they wanted to add at the very least a boss for every character level
if its not that i couldnt readily find it
Correct! That's the one. Pity it's only up to 7, but it's a good mod.
last question i swear lol, with the enemy upgrade overhaul, would you recommend turning on the level scaling? when i used it with the base game i had it on a constant +3 i think and it was very doable
