Pet Pal
I really like the story of being able to talk to animals but I really don’t like how they come to help out in fights. It’s really immersion breaking to have a wolf appear on the starter boat to help fight void woken.

Is there an option to talk to animals but not have it affect combat? That’s why I play with Free Pet Pal normally but it makes this mod fee unbalanced due to the combat changes

Maybe have a pet pal (lore) talent that gives +1 talent point so you can spec into it without feeling like you lost a combat ability. Then you can have a pet pal (battle) talent that will do what you currently have now. Essentially it’d be nice to separate the lore mechanic of pet pal from the combat ability you added.

Amazing mod BTW, really like how fresh it feels

I second that. I got 2 animals helping in a fight at once and it makes it too easy :( pet pal should be jus ttalking to animals thats enough
