Playability status Review
I'm starting this thread not to criticize - I get this is beta - but to get answers about what is playable or not because it's pretty confusing.

- Which nations are really playable ? Most of them don't get political focuses, units, industries or the means to get them.

- Any sort of tutorial ?

- What is the planning of advancement, what can we expect in the future months ?

I'm starting this because so far I would L.O.V.E to get immersed in the universe you created, but don't seem to grasp the means to do it.

Only the 4 nations in Interesting Nations screen are meant to be played in the demo

are they really ? i mean, you can do the focus, but it's mainly what you're doing all along without anything else... like possibility to change laws, justify war, etc. It's what i want to know : what is the state of progress here. What can we hope to do ?
Since Brougal answered the first one I won't bother to answer it (I'm not a dev btw)

2) I don't think there's one.

3)If you're talking about the demo, then they're planning to make the UI better and to allow Mac users to play it without crashing. If you're talking about the full mod, they're planning to release it in the third quarter of the year.

And including the questions you asked in the comments, you won't have the ability to justify but you will have the ability to change laws.

I'd suggest you read the roadmap and dev diaries, right here: https://www.reddit.com/r/TNOmod/wiki/index
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1fM87haoLh7qSwr8wzVLDkrNL8TE5koWthVTFCQPY9AA/edit#gid=0

And the lore if you don't wanna find it and read it from the dev diaries:
PART 1: https://youtu.be/zV1ckcs2emM
PART 2: https://youtu.be/8OGAqyHcbA0

NOTE: Some lore has been changed, such as the nuke being dropped in 1945 instead of 1944.

ah yes thanks ! I still don't get why we cannot justify (or any other diplo options), because it makes the game very linear - i mean i get it's a demo, but you cannot too much play around with it. Which is frustrating. I fear they want it too perfect and then no much more a game, than a more or less playable scenario we have to follow.
I cant wait to try it! OMG the wait ist killing me! I am going to play as Japan in my first game!
The reason you can't justify it because TNO, in the end, is a cold war game. Which means declaring war willy-nilly isn't exactly the best thing to do.

And responding to your last sentence, they will be a lot of possible paths you can go down, and I mean A LOT.

And since reading all the dev diaries isn't exactly the most time efficient thing to do, here are a few of the more important diaries (at least to me):

Boers and Border Wars, A diary on the South African war, AKA this timeline's Vietnam: https://www.reddit.com/r/TNOmod/comments/92l02e/development_diary_xv_boers_and_border_wars/

We the People, a diary on the United States: https://www.reddit.com/r/TNOmod/comments/agiyxw/development_diary_xviii_we_the_people/

And all of the development diaries, because why not:
