This is coming from a comment I posted a while ago, but I've since thought of a better way to go about it.

Imagine solar panels that can rotate from where they're attached. That way you could attach multiple solar panels together and they could properly fold in and tuck away neatly.
A long, thin, and simple hinge would be attached to the bottom of each one that is configurable inside the solar panel itself. (Please add in a displacement offset similar to the rotor's to allow more accurate movement)

You could potentially add in similar long, thin hinges as a standalone item for people using other modded solar panels.

Just a thought, plus I figured with how much I use/adore this mod, that this would be the best place to post this mod idea.
