Are you using the NATO UAV terminal? Cause the CSAT and AAF ones do not work for NATO.

Oh didn't see you mentioned your UAV Operator, I'm sorry I never do that so I don't have experience with that.

ya I am the commander, I know how to do it when I am the UAV operator but in this scenario you are a commander so Im trying to figure out how to get a the operator to connect to one because i know I can connent to a friendly UAV

I figured it out last night, it seems that the UAV Operator that you can recute is the wrong team so if you go to the menu (shift+1) there is a button that is labled mods, click the mods button then it will bring you to a menu that says vehicles 1/2, air vehicles and units. Each section consits of different vehicles and units that you can recruit and paradrop. So now click on the units button and it will give you a huge list of units to add. You want to scroll down untill you find the UAV operator BUT!! here is the thing there is 2 of them in the list so when you find them you have to pick the 1 wich a B at the begining of the name (to be able to see the full name move you mouse over the name for a second or 2 and a full name will popup by your mouse) Once you find the right one you have to click add and he will be added to the list. Now you can recruit the UAV Operator tell him to assemble his darter because he has the correct darter and using the UAV terminal that you bought (labled B) you can connect to the darter and start flying. Also any of the names in any of the lists can be added once added it will be in one of the lists to paradrop, recruit, support just like the UAV operator :>

Yes, that is how the mod template works. But the major downside is the AI can't even control the Drones, if they could do so we would get our extra time to do some other things.
