since awp is one shot to the body, i think the kill confirmed version of the skin should be a bullet going through the chest or stomach, not the head

So you're not going to nitpick the fact that both the AK and M4A4 have an Empress skin where basically the only difference is a different base color? It's a series bro. It's meant to have the same art or art style between the items. But with the case of Kill Confirmed, they have to edit and make sure the art looks good on each weapon. Same deal with Empress. It may not sound like a lot, but it's actually a lot of time and work depending on the complexity of the base art.
