Savegame
Hi. A savegame is absolutely necessary to finalize a game. In 3-4 hours you do not have time to play it full, completing all the incidents that arise in the game. Could you create a mod that would save the game?
Thank you

Sorry for not noting you earlier. Steam does not inform me on New discussions started...

I'm not entirely sure what you mean with a mod that would save?
You are aware that you can save an ongoing game in TTS?
Click: Games -> Save and Load -> Create -> give a name and a folder -> Save.

Or is there a problem with the save files? They seem to work ok for me...

Hi. Since the game application does not have the "save" function, would it be possible to create a mod with this function? To finish a complete “U-Boot” scenario, a lot of hours are needed. The save function is essential, so that it can be interrupted and followed later. Thank you.

I am baffled... The TabletopSimulator has a save functionality. Did you try the instructions I gave?

Ah, you are talking about the Uboot mobile app, are you? But still I have an hard time of understanding what you'd expect me to do? Code a save function for the mobile app?

Hi.

First excuse my bad English.

As I understood the first time I read you post, I thought Tabletop Simulator was a computer mod for the Uboot game app. When I checked its features:

Features:
- Tumba's Olympos-Engine, alpha version
- Tumba's Magic Dice Tower, "Das Boot"
- Tumba's Best Buttons
- The Radio
- Animated background
- Animated custom objects
- Ambient sound
- Two-stage containers
- Photogrametered objects
- Scripts

I thought all these were buttons and improvements that the mod introduced in the app. And I saw that a save game was not in that list. That's why I wrote asking if it was possible to make a save game for that mod.

But now that I read it again, I begin to believe that Tabletop Simulator is not a computer mod for the app, but a series of plastic o resin accessories for the game: engines, cooking, etc., to improve aesthetics. It is right? If it is correct, I am also interested in acquiring some parts, such as engines, cooking and those that the game does not bring. Where can I get it? I also painted my figures, cannons and plastic markers.

On the other hand, the app urgently needs a save game, because it is very, very difficult to finish a scenario in 3-4 hours. I have written to the distributor in Spain and they replied that they have informed the designers. I hope that the sales of this great game will allow them to get an update of the app with a save game.

Best regards

No prob.
This TTS mod has nothing to do with the app. It just provides a virtual table with all the parts that the Deluxe set of U-boot has. So it allows people to play U-boot, when they cannot physically meet at the same table. Basically it is a copy of my own U-boot board game with all the parts painted by me.

The extra parts came with the Deluxe edition of the U-Boat game that you could get during it's Kickstarter campaign. I'm not sure if the extra parts can be bought anymore. You need to check with the game company for that. Maybe somebody still sells them online.

I agree with you that a save would be nice in the app. But as I have nothing to do with the app or the company that made it, I cannot do anything about it.
